Setting up Apple Shortcuts to start a Sonos Sleep Timer

You will need your Orto for Sonos to complete this tutorial

1

Load the Apple Shortcuts App

2

Tap '+' At the top right

3

Tap '+ Add Action'

4

Search for 'Wait' and select it

5

Set the number of seconds you want your timer to take. 5 minutes is 300 seconds, 10 minutes is 600 seconds. It takes a long time but if you hold the plus down it speeds up a bit

6

Tap into the Search bar along the bottom to add the next action

7

Search 'Orto' and select Stop All Players or, for a single speaker only, use Toggle Play / Pause

8

Rename the shortcut by tapping the greyed out Title along the top of the screen

9

Tap Done

Now tap the Shortcut from Apple Shortcuts to give it a go
